Schools across France have introduced a new policy requiring late students to run around school searching for the people being able to sign their hall pass. This rule means that even if students are just a bit late, they will have to go get an approved hall pass, get it stamped by the vice principal and hope the teacher is in a good enough mood to let the student back in. Principals say this rule is designed to keep the school organized as students run around asking for signatures.Principals also tell us that students return to class in a structured and accountable way. Our reporters have interviewed students who all say that this rule is ridiculous, we all know that kids always exaggerate. This rule is indeed a terrific way to stop students from being late because by the time they get everything needed to reenter class, the  class is already over without one student entering the class late.This rule requires collecting three signatures, a hall pass stamped in triplicate, and the emotional approval of a vice principal guarding the main office.

 We have interviewed the CPE explaining how with this rule he always knows where the students are as they run around the hallways looking for him. “To be sure that the students find me, I always stay in my office” says the CPE as we interview him in the teachers lounge sipping coffee.

Our reporters have also interviewed Ms Bobbington who says that thanks to this rule no more students arrive late for students that would be late spend their class time in the hallways looking for the CPE in his office.

 “Thanks to this rule, no more students arrive late but for some unknown reason there are less students present in class.”

 Ms Bobbington then writes the students that are not there  because  they are looking for the CPE to not get punished for being late absent, The CPE then says he doesn’t know where they are so the secretary calls the parents who say they sent the student to school so everybody starts searching outside as the student is lost inside the school looking for the CPE.

Principals around France are so proud of their unique method to prevent students from missing important class time  by kicking them out of class if they’re late.
