The book is realistic fiction.It is about a boy who is going to live with his dad., so he needs to learn this new culture .Cole is surprised by this culture because his dad is a cow-boy in the city and  he is Black. He didn’t know that cowboys were Black.

I did not really like the part when the horse got shot and died . I liked the part when he found the horse Boo because he was scared of the horse.

I never felt like I did not belong in a new place but I need to adapt to a new school.

I am scared but Cole was not scared.

                  I think that it should be read  in schools because it is a good book and it is interesting because it is cool to learn about new cultures .I do not think this should be read in kindergarten it is a challenge. 

I loved this book .10/10
