This is a book called How To Skin a Bear, that talks about a girl called Bee living in the stone age,her job is plucking feathers that she hated to do! One night there was a storm and her dog runs away , she gets separated from her tribe to get her dog and goes on a wild adventure.She learns that even tho she was frustrated with her family and dad she ended up being sad and she missed her family .She ended up proving herself that she isn't as  weak as she seems.

This story is at the time of the stone age ,she is moving around in the mountains.I l learned that in the stone age you had to hunt for food and make a fire, you also you had to move around and at the night you stayed in a cave .They also did rituals, they needed to stay close together  not to lose anyone  and to be safe. 

 The main character is a girl called Bee ,her problems is that she is all alone with dog lost and hurt .I am really different compared to Bee because I would have stayed with my tribe because I would be to scared to go alone looking for my Dog. I don't agree with her decision that she went off to get Dog .

I felt the suspense and I was worried and I wanted to keep on going and continuing to read . I really wanted to continue after the cliffhangers .Like for example when she was in a cave and she saw a skull but it ended up not to be as serious as  I thought  .

 I think that it was a very nice book, I never read a book similar to this. I really wanted just to keep on going. I would recommend it to my family and friends, I think it should be taught in school to children eight plus, I think it would help in history to learn about the stone age.

 It was a nice book , I would rate this book 4 stars out of 5 stars.
