Banning Human Needs the Trick to Good Education

by Louis, 14

At a school assembly on Monday the principal, Lisa O’Neil, announced a new rule banning all bathroom breaks during class,  saying that it would help students focus better in class. This rule starts this week and it's applied to grades 5-12. All teachers have been told to ignore or refuse all requests to go to the bathroom.

We have had Ms. O’Neil  and other school officials to interview. Ms. O’Neil said that “students miss important information and get distracted when they go to the bathroom”. Ms. O’Neil measured the grades and the quality of the schoolwork went up. Some students even told their teachers that it helped them concentrate better during class and it helped them go to the bathroom during break.

After one month teachers start seeing students focusing less on going to the bathroom and more into the class and more on not wetting themselves in class. Teachers announce that this was a success.
