Book Club for Teens

Teaching With Class is bringing back the Book Club!

Specifically for teens, we’ll be choosing books that will get your kids reading more quality books while also addressing issues that teens will find engaging and important. We’ll meet once a month on Sunday afternoons, and students can participate by reading and engaging in the conversation, or they can go a step further by participating in the online forum and writing a book review to be published.

January Book:

The House in the Cerulean Sea by TJ Klune.

This is a heartwarming book about loneliness and acceptance, discrimination and courage, and about accepting who you are and finding (or creating) your family. It is important in its representation and in its message of hope and courage in the face of prejudice.

Meeting: Sunday January 29, 4pm.  €15/month or 25 for two months

February Book:

Book Choice TBA.

Meeting: Sunday Febraury 26, 4pm.  €15/month or 25 for two months

Creating engaged, confident readers and writers.
